Zombie College is an American adult animated college comedy horror web series created by Eric Kaplan of Futurama fame. It ran from June 2000 to January 2001 with two seasons and 13 episodes.

Why It Should Be Expelled

  1. It has an annoying theme song where “Zombie College” is the only phrase heard in it.
  2. The Flash animation is bad by 2000 standards. Not to mention that the show would have been on Fox before the company decided not to have it as a 22-minute long live-action show.
  3. The designs of the characters are hideous. They look like crossbreeds of Rugrats characters and Powerpuff Girls.
  4. There are a lot of cliches regarding zombies and college.
  5. The second season ends with an unfinished cliffhanger.
  6. Scott Bardo and Zelda Cruz are uninteresting lead characters.
  7. The episodes are only 4 minutes long.
  8. The show is filled with lame zombies and college jokes.
  9. The show is mostly unfunny.
  10. The original web version had poor audio compressing.

Redeeming Qualities

  1. The voice cast and direction are quite impressive with every main actor from Futurama involved except for Katey Segal, Phil LaMarr, and Lauren Tom. It helps that Eric Kaplan is the creator.
  2. The concept of a zombie college is interesting but poorly executed.
  3. The tombstone gag on each intro is a nice touch.
  4. The minor characters, especially Zeke and Julius are likable.
