Team Kaylie is a comedy streaming television series created by Tracy Bitterolf and developed by Pamela Eells O'Connell, directed by Bob Koherr, and starring Bryana Salaz and Alison Fernandez.

After a brush with the law, teenage celebrity billionaire Kaylie Konrad is ordered by the court to lead an inner-city wilderness club.

Why It's Not A Team

  1. The premise is just bland, generic, and boring.
  2. The logo is a horrible rip-off of the Barbie logo.
  3. Very poor and nonsensical writing.
  4. The main problem is that it steals jokes from other sitcoms like;
  5. The clothes they have Kaylie wearing is a horrible example for the childrens'.
  6. Weak, unfunny, vapid, stale, gross, cringeworthy, and forced humor that falls face flat.
  7. So many unfunny scenes and boring heartwarming moments.
  8. Much like The Thundermans, Young Dylan and Bizaardvark. It tries so hard to be hip and current as it has references to internet lingo, roasts, selfies, and social media.
  9. There are many inappropriate episodes. One episode involves the characters' large butt molding that they slap and it jiggles. A younger character wears it under her clothes and posts pictures of her fake behind on social media. Just not a good message for children.
  10. The show is a clear cash grab.
  11. As mentioned above; It sends a horrendous message to kids such as: you have to be beautiful and popular.
  12. It normalizes the "Social Media Celebrity" lifestyle that isn't sustainable or realistic for kids.
  13. The laugh track is played so much it gets irritating.
  14. So many awful jokes and puns
  15. The acting is horrible.
  16. The characters are unlikable and rip-offs of other characters.
    • Kaylie is an opposite rip-off of Liv from Liv and Maddie but written so much worse.
      • Her family is even worse as they just treat Kaylie like absolute crap and they only use Kaylie for her fame and money.
    • Kamantha Konrad is similar to Piper Hart from Henry Danger, she never gets punished for the horrendous stuff she does
    • Ray Ray and Chewy are both opposite rip-offs of Robbie from Victorious, But for Ray Ray, you can see on mentioned in RQ#3.
    • Val is a terrible rip-off of Jade West from Victorious.
    • Jackie is one of those annoying nerdy teen girls so she can be seen as the opposite rip-off of Phoebe Thunderman from The Thundermans
  17. The characters are so stereotypical on the opposite.
  18. Many reviews said that this show is technically a very cheap Disney Channel show, despite being developed by Pamela Eells O'Connell (Who made Jessie, Bunk’d, etc)
  19. The show has many bad morals, such as:
    • Bullying
    • Violence
    • Lying
    • Breaking rules
    • Impersonation
    • Manipulation
    • Not being yourself
    • Starting drama
    • Not learning from your mistakes
  20. The show is extremely irritating to watch at times.
  21. The episodes have so many stupid plots and subplots.
  22. The characters be making very poor choices most of the time and it gets very annoying and boring to watch.
  23. Lot of plot holes.

Redeeming Qualities

  1. The theme song is very catchy.
  2. Kaylie is more likable than her sorry excuse you call a family.
    • Including Ray Ray is a likable character.
  3. Some very funny moments.
  4. Well-designed sets.
  5. Part 3 is a minimal improvement in terms of the writing and characterization, but not by much.

Team Kaylie received mixed-to-negative reviews. It is considered to be one of the worst shows Netflix made. It has a bad score on IMDb with a 4.5/10.
