The bad qualities on this page don't really hold up strongly to form its own page and would work better as bad qualities on the Best TV Shows Wiki page, a couple of the reasons are nitpicks, and a few of the reasons were out of 4Kids' hands.

I Think This Page Might Need To Be Deleted
Its edit summary is too large for it to be deleted. I think we should just rename it to some other show instead.
Yeah, even admins can't do everything on wikis. The same happened to me when I tried to delete the Batman & Robin page on Awful Movies Wiki.
How does an edit summary keep pages from being deleted?
If a page has a long edit history it can't be deleted to prevent the destruction of the wiki. That's what the message told me when I tried to delete that page, which is unfortunate because that page is very mediocre, at best.
It is a way to prevent important pages from being delete because of personal whims on administrators' part I think, but a long history doesn't mean a page is good, especially on Awful Movies Wiki.
Sure, it doesn't automatically mean the page is good. You think it's mediocre?
Which page, Batman & Robin? Yes, regardless of the negative reception it got, the WIS are just a hate page and the RQs are more meaningful and detailed. Not to mention there is at least a nitpick pointing at flaws we would forgive in a positively received movie.
I'm also referring to the 4Kids page.
Well 4Kids isn't here anymore so that case is closed. It didn't have much sense to have the page here anyway, it felt like a 4Kids article had to be here too just because of the overly negative criticism it gets.
TheStarsOfTheSkies added it back in 2017. I wonder how he’s doing now...
It was him? I didn't know it. I am afraid he died of bone cancer since his brother quit the wikis without telling anyone. It could also be that his brother wasn't who he claimed to be but was TheStarsOfTheSkies all along and he just grow bored of the wikis and decided to quit.
This theory is perhaps valid because I once saw his "brother" demoted two ghost admincrats accounts on FANDOM Best TV Shows Wiki before quitting. The thing is Stars was the one who gave those ghost admincrats their rights and I doubt he would have thought of demoting those two accounts and told his brother about it if he really had cancer.
Stars also had a taste for dramas and theatrisms, so it could be just like I thought.
But I will never know for sure what happened to him. Sometimes, when I lay in bed at night waiting to fall asleep, he comes to mind and I pray he is fine. The worst part is that we (me and Unnamedgoon) had him demoted because we thought it was his fault Terrible TV Shows was closed (the first time) because he carelessly used "homo" around the wiki and made real people pictures as the wiki's insignias.
We found out it wasn't him; FANDOM staff closed it in error (still suspicious but that's a different story). I still think we used him as a scapegoat, somehow, and I still regret what I did to the guy.
Oh. I know some users who got bored; CoinyPinDonutBurch, Evil Tim...
Only the Miraheze higher-ups know why.
Alright. Then I guess I'll talk you guys about their dub of Shaman King. I just watched an episode of the dub where they mentioned a guy was impaled, guns weren't censored but some were, and one of the characters in one of the earlier episodes said the word "jackass". At this point, I am fully convinced TV censors and network executives are responsible for all this censorship and not 4Kids.
Oh, and Shaman King. Yeah, it's pretty dark. It's not as brutal as the manga, but its still pretty dark.
While the English dub doesn't portray it as horrific as the Japanese version, it can still be horrific of the sight of Morty's insides being examined by Faust's hand.
Good point, I had to turn the 4Kids page into a page covering a special that has the prestigious honor of going on So Bad It’s Horrible. It’s literally the only way to get rid of the 4Kids page without deleting it.
So from my description of 4Kids' dub of Shaman King, what are your thoughts? Unexpected?
I see. Well, even though it had light censorship, it still had censorship.
You should of made it redirect to the 4kids One Piece page. It would of made more sense.
What if 4kids dubbed every anime.
Here I found some accurate videos and some a bit off and over exaggerated.
Just for fun:
If every anime was like that, it wouldn't be because of 4Kids. It would be because they aired on a American broadcasting TV station that has overly strict broadcasting standards towards anime.
I saw how Crappy Games Wiki haves a category on pages also on Awesome Games Wiki so I thought that the same should be here. For here, the category would be called "Also on Best TV Shows Wiki" and this page would be in that category. I would do that but this page is protected.

The Real Reason Why the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Dub Was Never Finished
4Kids had the intention of finishing the rest of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. But as Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's premiered in Japan around near the end of the GX dub's third season, Konami and TV Tokyo forced 4Kids to abandon GX, and focus solely on 5D's as they wanted 5D's to gain popularity in the west with most of the attention focused on 5D's in favor of GX. This decision made 4Kids pretty upset, as it felt like to them that TV Tokyo killed one of their products.
I was quite surprised when I discovered this. I originally just simply blamed Alfred R. Kahn for the unfinished dub.
Should there be a page on this wiki about Americanizing edits? 4Kids can obviously be the main highlight.
It is enough to list these edits on the specific companies' pages.
Can someone add the Family Guy episode, "Trump Guy", where they break the fourth wall many times and made fun of Bob's Burgers and Trump?
I haven't seen that episode. How bad is it?
If it has stereotypical Trump portrayal...
Is that bad?
Yeah it's bad. Make an article from this episode now, please.
Just make them yourself.
Should 4Kids have a page on the Best TV Shows Wiki
Even though 4Kids is infamous of its Americanizing and censorship, they still had dignity with some of their anime's like Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Sonic X, Shaman king.
To be fair, not really.
They should have had dignity with all anime.
If they didn't have to comply to FCC laws and network standards, they would have had more dignity.
Do rice balls violate FCC laws?
It probably isn't since they referenced Japanese culture in some other episodes and actually called them rice balls. 4Kids isn't the only one to ever do this. When Funimation had their dub of Dragon Ball air on television in their early years, I believe it went under Americanizing changes as well. And honestly, its not really a big deal because dubs of any kind especially to other countries are going to have cultural changes of some sorts.
The thing is, if anime shows were so terribly adult and FCC violating, why did they even choose to dub them?
Also, Jeff, I will have to block you, since you undid many of my edits for no good reason.
Right. Even those were Americanized.
Sentai Filmworks is much better than 4Kids.
I would agree with you Jeff, but as you can see there isn't a lot of people who think 4Kids is worthy of Best TV Shows Wiki.
The page here has several redeeming qualities so at least it is not like we aren't giving them justice.
That's because they don't understand the full reason 4Kids had to have censorship with their dubs, and they didn't know that other dubbing companies around that time were guilty of these similar practices. Funimation had a very poor reputation in their early years with their heavy censorship and altering they gave to their dub of Dragon Ball. If 4Kids wasn't slapped with that lawsuit, they would have done what Funimation did and released their dubs uncut on online streaming services with help from Funimation and Crunchyroll. They would have been given the chance to redeem themselves like Funimation did.
Maybe you are right, and I guess people mainly talk about 4Kids' flaws and not much about other companies.
Americanized or not, some of those animes were still handled pretty very well. I'm not exactly suggesting we delete its page on Terrible TV Shows wiki, probably give it a duplicate page for the Best TV Shows wiki. I've seen a lot of Pokemon fans that prefer the old 4Kids dub, and the dub of Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters is more faithful to the manga than the original Japanese version.
I am aware there are a lot of people that prefer the old 4Kids dub for some series but I didn't know about the specific case you are talking about but it is worthy to be mentioned in the redeeming qualities.
Actually, maybe it doesn't need a page on that wiki.
We also don't use to make pages about the same thing on both wikis anymore.
You know, the things that 4Kids gets criticized for is quite hypocritical since other dubbing companies around the time dubbed their anime's like 4Kids did. Even Funimation is guilty of this.
