"I'll take 'Known Hucksters' for $400."

On November 8, 2020, longtime Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek passed away after a battle with pancreatic cancer. As a result, the producers of Jeopardy! used a rotation of guest hosts throughout the rest of Season 37.

One of those guest hosts, however, was Dr. Mehmet Oz, whose tenure aired from March 22 to April 2, 2021. He has been widely criticized for scamming people and other statements. Upon its announcement, Oz was universally rejected by fans and contestants alike, with 32-game champion James Holzhauer jabbing him in a quote retweet saying "no I believe in science".

Oz ended up having the lowest ratings of any guest host until CNN anchor Anderson Cooper's tenure aired later that year.
