My Fair Ed is the 16th episode of Season 3 and the 68th episode of Ed, Edd n Eddy. In the episode, Edd attempts to remodel his friends into proper gentlemen after they create major problems for the other kids. Initially it works, but soon Ed and Eddy begin ruining everything in attempts to "help."

Why It's Unfair

  1. It is a torture scenario towards Double D (Edd).
  2. All of the cul-de-sac kids are hypocritical, horrible, and obnoxious idiots, as they blame Double D for everything Ed and Eddy do without second thought even though Double D was just trying to help control Ed and Eddy.
    • It doesn't help at all that this could be worse...
  3. It's been shown Double D is the most favored of the Eds by the other kids (Sarah likes him, Jimmy shares common interest, Nazz likes his sweet nature and even Kevin has had teamup moments with Double D). Yet in this episode, all of that is forgotten and the episode has the kids treat Double D as if he's the main source as to why Ed and Eddy act the way they do. Even though it's been shown many times that Double D is more or less the voice of reason, it's also why the other kids got along with him in selective episodes.
  4. Ed and Eddy are morons as well, as they just fake their changes just to force the other kids to form a mob mentality and chase after Double D. Then, Ed and Eddy mock Double D when he's depressed because he thought he had changed them.
  5. Ed is especially out of character in this episode, as he never likes hurting people and is normally very loyal towards his friends. Yet here, he's perfectly fine using and abusing Double D's feelings and pretends to change just to hurt Double D mentally.
  6. Why couldn't the cul-de-sac kids just chase after Ed and Eddy and beat them up for all their wrongdoings instead? That would have made the entire episode fair.
  7. Horrible ending: Eddy and Ed tell Double D that they were just doing these horrible things just to mess with him. Double D then scares Ed and Eddy away with a piece of broccoli, and Ed injures Kevin and wrecks his bike in the process while in panic mode. Double D goes inside and shuts his door upon seeing Kevin advancing towards him with a bike handle holding it in back of his hand, implying that Kevin broke into his house and beat him up off-screen.

Fair Qualities

  1. Double D is the only likable character here.
  2. Ed and Eddy have a few funny moments.
  3. The scene at the beginning of the episode was actually really funny.
