Grub Snub perks give you deals on the episodes you hate. The kind of deals that make you want to slam your head into your computer screen! (cue Masked Wolf's "Astronaut In The Ocean" bass boosted to ear-grating levels)
When Leni decides to hang out at Gus' with her friends, Lincoln and his fight them in order to dominate the place.
Why This Episode Doesn't Even Compete With Mr. Snub
The main problem with this episode is that Lincoln and his friends act like they actually own Gus' by being so territorial to the place, even though anyone and everyone can hang out over there as Gus' is a public building.
The moral of having to share a space was already done with season 1's "Space Invader", where it was done better. Didn't he already learn his lesson to share a space in that episode?
Lincoln and his friends are like this all because Leni and her friends just needed a new place to hang out at. That's just selfish of them.
Leni’s group could have found another hangout rather than barge in, or better yet, asked Lincoln and his friends if they could share their space.
Leni is at her absolute worst in here as she makes such a big deal of Lincoln and his friends hanging out at Gus' Games and Grub and then she tries to get Lincoln to leave Gus' Games and Grub.
Depending on your view, Dim Yum closing down that fast doesn't make that much sense and feels like it was forced just for the sake of a plot.
It also never explain on how Dim Yum got closed.
Stella, usually the voice of reason as shown in previous episodes, just blindly goes along with Lincoln and his friends' selfish plan, not even thinking to herself what could go wrong.
Lincoln and his friends blocking off the arcade games with caution/police tape is unfair to other people who could be in the building who want to play with them.
In the final round of their challenge, both Lincoln's and Leni's friend groups start fighting and destroy all the arcade games, even when told to stop, causing everyone else to run away from Gus's, and they even injure the owner of the arcade.
After both friend groups clean up the arcade, they are somehow allowed back in right away, when their ban should've been longer for injuring the poor owner like that.
The title, Grub Snub is a reference to GrubHub, which is another attempt from Nick to be relevant.
It is nice to see Leni's school friends Jackie and Mandee again, as they have not appeared since season 3's "Everybody Loves Leni".
The beginning (where the owner of Gus' treats Lincoln and his friends like a family) was decent.
Gus (the owner of the arcade) is the only likeable character.
The ending isn't too bad.
"Grub Snub" received negative reviews from critics, audiences and even fans alike, as it currently holds a 4.7/10 on IMDb, making it one of the lowest rated episodes of The Loud House.
There were no promos on Nickelodeon for this episode or its sister episode.
