Grizzly Tales for Gruesome Kids (Now called Grizzly Tales from Seasons 7 to 8) is a 2011 British animated television series based on the generic trademarked children's book series of the same name by Jamie Rix. It was cancelled in 2012 after season 8, along with the original series, the 2011-2012 revival continues to air re-runs on Nicktoons in the UK until 2018, unlike Season 1-6, (despite being distributed for Nicktoons) these seasons never aired on ITV.
Why These Seasons Suck
They don't have the same charm as the past seasons (1-6).
The CGI animation in these seasons looks ugly, and it replaced the brilliant stop motion one from 1-6 very badly.
Some of the plots and episodes are uncreative, and sometimes, they're not even from the books.
The characters are now even more annoying and unlikable.
Not only does the CGI animation look terrible, but the 2D animation is also so cheap looking that the 2D animation itself looks like it was made in really bad Flash animation.
The theme song, while decent, is not as memorable as the theme song from Seasons 1 to 6 by composer, Ed Welch.
Since Uncle Grizzly was replaced by The Night Night Porter (his half brother), Spindleshanks doesn't even appear in those 2 seasons at all!
At least they kept most of the same voice cast from the past six seasons.
There are some good episodes and some tolerable characters here and there.
