Doug's Christmas Story is the tenth episode of the fourth season of Nickelodeon's Doug and the third and last full length episode of the Nickelodeon series.

Why It Sucks

  1. This episode is basically a major torture episode for Porkchop, and it's as if Ken Scarborough hated Porkchop and wanted everyone to know.
  2. Basically, Porkchop is sent to jail and even treated like Hannibal Lector just for "biting" Beebee, First of all, all dogs bite people, that's normal, Secondly, Porkchop was trying to save her, he was just biting her leg to drag her away from falling into thick ice.
  3. The entire town of Bluffington was very unlikable, as they got angry at Porkchop, and considered him a "killer" dog, just for simply "attacking" Beebee.
  4. Doug was, at first unlikable, as he scolded Porkchop after the incident. However, despite the moment, he still cares about his well being throughout the rest of the episode.
  5. Apparently, Beebee was "injured" and had to wear a cast because Porkchop "bit" her, showing she is too much of a wet-blanket to realize not all dog bites are an injury.
  6. The imaginations have no point in being in this episode as it left in a cliffhanger after Doug breaks up the altercation and tells them that he is on his own with this situation to his other three alter egos.
  7. Misleading Title: Despite being a Christmas episode, Christmas is irrelevant to the plot, you can very well remove the references to Christmas from this ep and nothing would change.
  8. Even when Bluffington realized that Porkchop was saving Beebee from the crack in the ice, everyone forgot to apologize for their misunderstanding.
    • And to make things even worse, Doug never got a chance to apologize!

The Only Redeeming Quality

  1. The ending is great as Bluffington realizes Porkchop was trying to save Beebee, and thank him for it despite not apologizing for their misunderstanding.
  2. Despite not being able to apologize, Doug was at least likeable and tried to prove that Porkchop was only saving Beebee out of heroism from the thick ice.
