Plot

Cal’s Sound Yard is the first YouTube original series based off of Baby Einstein. It features many past time and new characters from the DVDs, of which they have new talking voices, names and designs.

Why It Should Be Blahed At

  1. The main criticism with the series is that the alphabet is very out of order in this series.
  2. Odd looking animation, since it was animated with flash.
  3. The ending song for the series is repeated for each episode.
  4. Some of the voices for the characters are completely unfitting.
  • One example is Flip the Frog's voice, as he literally copies Stitch's voice from Lilo and Stich, Another one is Neptune the Turtle as his voice is completely mediocre and can get on your nerves.
  • Another example is Ossie the Octopus' voice, as his voice is literally Australian. which is completely unfitting, although there are several octopuses that live in the waters of Australia.
  1. While the music isn't bad in all...The music feels like it was taken from a website where it has stock music.

Redeeming Qualities

  1. A letters video would've been a good idea, but unfortunately it was executed poorly.

Reception

The series received mixed to negative reviews from parents and Baby Einstein fans alike, but it received criticism for doing it in a out of order way.
