Disobeying your parents to get everything you want? What an interesting moral! *sarcasm*

"The Limit" is the thirtieth episode of Season 2 of The Amazing World of Gumball. It is the sixty-sixth episode overall.

Summary

Nicole gets upset with the family at the supermarket when they attempt to get candy.

Why It Needs To Be Fixed

  1. The Watterson Family (except Nicole) are extremely unlikable in this episode, for their own different reasons.
    • Gumball, Darwin and Anais for constantly bothering and refusing to listen Nicole’s orders after she told them that they can’t get candy.
    • Richard for encouraging the kids to not listen to their mother and even trying to make them steal from the store (by doing so himself.)
  2. In the end, the others treat Nicole like she was in the wrong for trying to discipline her kids when they were in the wrong for disobeying her.
  3. Gumball, Anais, and Darwin never learn their lesson and instead get candy bribed by a traumatized security guard in the end.
  4. The appearance of Nicole during the final half of the episode is far too creepy for the show’s target audience and to make it even worse, she actually threatens to murder both her husband Richard and her kids.
  5. The episode’s moral is horrible as it states that you should constantly disobey your parents in order to get what you want, even when they tell you several times “no”.
  6. It’s nothing but several minutes of torture for Nicole Watterson.

The Only Redeeming Quality

  1. Its premise was quite interesting.
